M.A.R.S Bio-Med had a great time at the California Dental Association Conference. We met so many wonderful Dental Professionals in San Francisco, who knew to ask the right questions about the EPA Amalgam Separator Regulation. One of best things Dental Practices can do to ensure their compliance with any new Regulation, ask questions and do their homework.
At the California Dental Association Conference
M.A.R.S was happy to answer questions about the EPA Regulation and issues about Dental Practice’s current amalgam separators. It was unfortunate to learn that most Dental Practices that we spoke to at the California Dental Association Conference with an amalgam separator have not been maintaining their systems correctly. The lack of maintenance is not only a concern as it will affect not only their compliance but their equipment. A poorly maintained amalgam separator is known to cause serious suction issues and even cause damage to equipment. A fact that is well known by a Trusted M.A.R.S distributor, Dansereau Health Products, a manufacturer of wet-ring and dry vacuum systems.
How M.A.R.S Got into Contact with Dansereau Health Products
M.A.R.S was contacted in early August by Dansereau Health Products‘ Owner, Harry Nelson. Being a California based manufacturer of dental chairs, compressors, and wet/dry vacuum systems, Harry was looking for a reliable and economical amalgam separator to offer with his suction pumps. According to Harry, after extensive research, Harry chose the M.A.R.S LibertyBOSS.
The biggest selling point for Harry was that the LibertyBOSS is designed to be a minimum 1 ½” throughout the system. Harry has found that amalgam separators that are reduced to smaller diameters (average diameter reduction is ¾”) tend to cause suction issues due to clogging. When amalgam separators have reduced diameters, they require weekly inspections and maintenance to ensure the system functions to manufacturer specifications. The LibertyBOSS’ large settling tank and large diameter flow are designed to never require maintenance or inspection for the duration of the service life; this is because it is virtually impossible to clog.
M.A.R.S would like to thank Dansereau Health Products for having great faith in the M.A.R.S Brand. We would also like to thank you for displaying the LibertyBOSS proudly at your CDA booth.
The Importance of Variety
Competition has never intimated M.A.R.S, in fact, we welcome it. At most of the Trusted M.A.R.S Distributor booths at the California Dental Association Conference, the LibertyBOSS was the only amalgam separator proudly on display. Those of you who attended the California Dental Association Conference or who have read our previous blog on the California Dental Association Conference, you know M.A.R.S had our EPA Regulation and Amalgam Separator expert at our Trusted M.A.R.S Distributor’s booths. One of our Trusted M.A.R.S Distributors chose to offer a variety of options to their customers; this company was Scott’s Dental Supply.
Scott’s Dental Supply at the California Dental Association Conference
A few weeks before the California Dental Association Conference, we spoke with Scott Bigler, President of Scott’s Dental Supply. Once Scott was given the information on the M.A.R.S LibertyBOSS, he saw the value in offering the M.A.R.S Brand to his customers.
At the California Dental Association Conference, Scott’s had two different amalgam separators displayed at their booth. By providing variety, Scott’s Dental Supply gave the unique opportunity for Dental Professionals to see two completely different designed amalgam separators side by side to compare the advantages and disadvantages of each system.
Based on the different amalgam separator’s features, they can provide the right amalgam separator to best suit the needs of their customer’s Dental Practice.
It was an absolute pleasure working with Scott’s Dental Supply at the 2017 California Dental Association Conference. They have a very dedicated, knowledgeable, and honest group of Sales Representatives. M.A.R.S is looking forward to working with them in the near future.
PureLife Dental at the California Dental Association Conference
M.A.R.S is proud to provide healthy competition, taking the high road in our marketing and advertising, by only stating information which is based only on fact. A policy that was appreciated by PureLife Dental, a company just as dedicated as M.A.R.S in protecting the environment and keeping Dental Practices Compliant.
It was a pleasure meeting with Rodney Hanoon, CEO of PureLife Dental, at the California Dental Association Conference 2017. Rodney and the staff at PureLife Dental are incredibly knowledgeable, honest and full of integrity. Though M.A.R.S did not display at PureLife Dental’s booth at the California Dental Association Conference, we are excited at the prospect of working together in the near future. I am sure there will be more blogs to follow listing PureLife as a friend of M.A.R.S Bio-Med.
Thank you for reading Part 2 of our California Dental Association Conference blog. M.A.R.S enjoyed meeting with the incredible people at the conference, and it was truly a positive experience. Everyone here at M.A.R.S would like to thank our Trusted M.A.R.S Distributors for your continuing support and belief in the M.A.R.S Brand. For those of you who are currently considering joining M.A.R.S, either as a customer or a distributor, we will be looking forward to working with you soon.
