Features of a “BOSS” Separator
The AmalgamBOSS is designed for precise performance, time-saving convenience, simplicity and environmental compliance, without the costs involved with filter/cartridge changes and service calls.
World-Class Performance Certification
Third-party testing results on the AmalgamBOSS, by internationally recognized institutions, are outstanding.
American Dental Association (ADA) tested at 99.14%,
ISO 11143 certified at 99%,
The only separator in the world to receive the Canadian ETV certification under license from Environment Canada for 99% separation. The AmalgamBOSS separator uses an ion exchange formulation that has been proven to remove solid/aqueous mercury at over 99%, month after month; under real dental operatory conditions of 750 ml/min. (the average dental chair uses approximately 50 to 70 ml. /min)
Built for Real-Life Conditions
Tested at both 750 ml /min. and 1L/min. dental wastewater flow rates, the AmalgamBOSS easily handles your current performance capacity and will accommodate any future peak flows. Its giant sludge chamber offers maximum capacity. A single unit can accommodate up to 10 dental chairs at an annual service interval, or conversely, from 7 to 12 chairs at a semi-annual service interval. The AmalgamBOSS is built so robustly, it exceeds your wet or dry vacuum system’s warranty, seamlessly withstanding real practice vacuum conditions.
Ultimate Protection
With no dental auxiliary maintenance required, your staff is completely protected from soluble mercury, mercury vapor exposure, and cross-infection. And your office is protected from the costly hassles and concerns of possible mercury spills.
Ultimate Flexibility
At a compact 12” X 20”, the AmalgamBOSS’s unique ergonomic design allows complete installation flexibility - wall, floor or central installation mounts. Installation is fast, annual maintenance is simplified, and down-time is only minutes.
The Quietest Ever
With its advanced gravity-flow design, no moving parts, and no electrical components, this amalgam separator is utterly quiet. With no interim maintenance required whatsoever, you’ll forget it is even there.
A New Unit Every Scheduled Maintenance Interval
Only M.A.R.S does it!
A detachable self-contained unit means you get a new unit at every annual service interval – this means no leaking cartridges, no messy in-house decanting, no mercury spills, no mercury vapor: no environmental or OSHA infractions.
Dental solutions
M.A.R.S is committed to develop products and solutions that not only help dentists and the public, but help the environment, beyond what is being required by environmental laws.
