M.A.R.S Bio-Med is lucky to have an amazing team of talented and knowledgeable Amalgam Separator Experts. Our team is the reason M.A.R.S Bio-Med is getting more and more requests for our compliance training. The last blog we released highlighted some of the groups M.A.R.S has already had the opportunity to share our knowledge through our training course. Today we will be discussing some of the upcoming events coming up in the early parts of the New Year. Some of these courses are closed events; others are open to the public.
M.A.R.S is excited to have been invited by two Dental Societies to teach a CE course to their members. In January M.A.R.S will be providing three CE Courses two to Dental Societies and one at the Yankee Dental Congress. That means in January 2019, M.A.R.S will be teaching EPA and Amalgam Separator Compliance in three different States; Ohio, New York, and Massachusetts.
Our first two courses will be in the second and third week of January. The first course is held by the Keely Dental Society in Ohio and the second course will be held by the Suffolk County Dental Society in New York.
Keely Dental Society
On January 17th at 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm, M.A.R.S will be at the 4 Bridges Country Club in Liberty Township, Ohio with the Keely Dental Society.
President of Keely Dental Society, Dr. Elizabeth Mueller reached out to M.A.R.S around July of 2018. Dr. Mueller saw a submission for a CE Course that M.A.R.S had offered to provide to the Ohio Dental Association during their September Conference. Dr. Mueller felt it would be a huge benefit to have an expert speak with her Dental Society to provide them with an understanding why they are being required to have an amalgam separator and how to ensure their compliance.
Suffolk County Dental Society
On January 25th, 2019 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm M.A.R.S will be at the home of the Suffolk County Dental Society, 150 Motor Parkway,Hauppauge, NY.
M.A.R.S Bio-Med has been asked by the Suffolk County Dental Society to perform a 3 hour CE course for their members. Their program provides attendees with a continental breakfast, a half an hour before the CE course begins. Amalgam Separator Expert, our Technical Specialist Jason Buyukozer, will present
the same training to the Suffolk Country Dental Society as we provide Water Treatment Plants. The three-hour course will break down the EPA Compliance into three segments;
1) Understanding the EPA Regulation
2) Maintenance and Inspections of Amalgam Separators
3) Proper use of EPA Approved Evacuation Line Cleaners
At the end of the CE course, every Dental Professional attending will have all the knowledge they need to ensure their compliance.
The Suffolk County Dental Society Course is open to any Dental Professional at a small fee. Contact Bill Panzarino, Executive Director of the Suffolk Dental Society.
