Required Procedures for LibertyBOSS Replacements, Returns and Warranty Registration Card

In an effort to clarify the installation of the M.A.R.S LibertyBOSS amalgam separator which includes procedures for completing the Warranty Registration Card, we would like to present the required steps:

  • Removal/replacing the amalgam separator
  • After installation of a new LibertyBOSS amalgam separator, seal the depleted separator with airtight plugs in the inlet and outlet (Teflon taped closeout plugs provided) then place into the 3 mil plastic bag (provided) tape closed or tied tightly and place into the box that was supplied with the new LibertyBOSS amalgam separator.

WARRANTY REGISTRATION CARD (WRC):

The “Warranty Registration Card” needs to be completely filled out, by the dental practice, with the Practice’s name, address, new and old serial numbers (or other manufacturer’s model, i.e. Hg5 will suffice) etc., right down to the “Hours of Operation” which should include the days of the week and opening and closing times. If the office is closed through lunch we need the times they are closed. The Technician must write their contact information on the top of the Warranty Registration Card. If this is a new customer, please print “New Install” on the top of the card.

Warranty Registration Card

Once the installation is complete, the depleted separator is boxed, and the Warranty Registration Card completed and sent (email to info@marsbiomed.com or fax 1-905-723-9610), M.A.R.S will send your Certificate of Compliance and instructions for recycling.

If the separator has not been sealed properly and is leaking, it may be refused and sent back to the Practice. We understand that there are always exceptions, so if you have any questions, please contact us directly.

Why is it So Important?

M.A.R.S would like to stress the importance of having the Warranty Registration Card (WRC) filled out completely. Once the WRC is completely filled out and submitted to M.A.R.S your practice will be:

a. Enrolled into the “Find a Dentist” App (Free Advertising Program)
b. Enrolled in the automatic compliance reminder program
c. Supplied with a Certificate of Compliance
d. Sent recycling instructions for you old amalgam separator.
