M.A.R.S’ Adventures through March – Holistic/Biological Dentistry Part 1

M.A.R.S will be wrapping up our March adventures and starting the month of April by supporting and sponsoring holistic and biological dentists. Simultaneously, M.A.R.S will be both in Tampa Florida at the holistic dental association‘s meeting and Indianapolis Indiana for the International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology (IAOMT). For the IAOMT meeting, M.A.R.S sent our COO Kim Burns to support these biological dentists at their semi-annual meeting. In Florida, we sent Jason Buyukozer, our EPA Compliance an Amalgam Separator expert, to speak with the members of the Holistic Dental Association about their compliance and infection control.

Though M.A.R.S makes our living on capturing mercury amalgam from dental fillings, we are a strong supporter of dentists who are against the use of this toxic material in the mouth of patients. This is why we sponsor and attend these dental Academy‘s annual meetings. This year we will be proudly sponsoring both events.

The International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology is a group of dentists who choose to be more biological and holistic in their approach to dentistry. In previous blogs, M.A.R.S has mentioned how the Iowa MG teaches their members to not only remove mercury from the potential of entering our environment but also how to safely remove them from the patient’s mouth. Around the world amalgam feelings are becoming a thing of the past; M.A.R.S is proud to be a part of that change.

The 2019 IAOMT spring meeting is held this year at the Beautiful Westin hotel Indianapolis from April 4-7. Follow our next week’s blog to learn more about the IAOMT conference, the events planned, and the wonderful learning opportunities.

Since 1978, the Holistic Dental Association has been providing support and guidance to practitioners of holistic and alternative dentistry, as well as informing the public of the benefits of holistic dentistry for their health and well-being. Our purpose is to provide information and guidance to those persons seeking to participate in their own health care and to help in the continuing education of practitioners who have a desire to expand their knowledge and awareness.
