Exciting News from M.A.R.S Regarding our Latest Success in the Dental Industry

Leaders in the Dental Industry

M.A.R.S has some exciting news after many conversations, much time and effort. M.A.R.S is very proud and excited to announce that we have become a new Vendor to NDC Dental. NDC Dental is a huge provider for the dental industry. This is a group of over 50 individual Dental and Medical Distributors who are very much like us at M.A.R.S. They are well known in their areas, close to their communities, and treat their customers with respect, like friends. They, like M.A.R.S, appreciate the virtues of truth, honesty, and respect for clients they serve. That is the way M.A.R.S started in 2005 and continues today. With the same high respect for the dental practitioners, we serve the dental industry.

As M.A.R.S moves forward in this new venture, we are looking forward to sharing more of our knowledge and experiences with NDC Dental and their Distribution group. We will also be learning some valuable lessons from each of them. Once we have contacted each of these Distributors, we will be adding them to the Distributor page on our website. We feel that with our superior technology and advanced design, they will be able to offer improved products to the dental industry.

The EPA Ruling

On December 15th, 2016, The EPA released a new dental waste water discharge regulation. The regulation clearly stated that the Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW) would be the regulating body for this new regulation. The regulation has been put on hold by the Trump administration, the POTWs are still required to meet their existing EPA discharge limits. They are, as always, researching ways to lower their discharges, in order to meet limits for mercury released to the environment.

The LibertyBOSS Amalgam Separator

The M.A.R.S LibertyBOSS is the only amalgam separator on the market to capture all forms of mercury. This is including soluble mercury which the POTWs do not have the ability to capture. Our research has also indicated that mercury does dissolve in water. It will release soluble mercury in greater amounts dependent on the pH of the liquid that it is in.

Armed with the highly efficient LibertyBOSS and our neutral pH evacuation line cleaning system, we are confident that our new relationship with NDC will affect great reductions in the dental mercury discharged into our environment.
